Life at Riverwalk

Live in Riverwalk to enjoy all that the Canaan Valley area has to offer from the historic mountain town of Davis – basecamp for mountain adventures, and the town square for the area’s culture of music, art, farm-fresh and crafted foods, microbreweries and shopping. Riverwalk homes are designed to celebrate its river views and encourage enjoyment of its scenic and walkable location. Riverwalk architecture interprets the boomtown Victorian style of Davis at its turn of the century zenith while delivering today’s values in construction, floorplans, space and light. The construction details emphasizes safety, low maintenance, low cost of ownership and low carbon fuel dependency.

Community Amenities

Public Green Space

Riverwalk offers its own communal green spaces along the river with public access. Markets and festivals charm Riverwalk’s “front yard” along William from June through September. Riverwalk’s “back yard” is 1,000 feet of its riverfront, offering places for play, meditation, fishing, kayaking, gatherings, concerts and more. Home sites minimize yards (and associated maintenance) and maximum access to shared green space maintained by the homeowner’s association. In addition, Riverwalk adjoins the 5-acre Town of Davis Riverfront Park to its east.

Upper Pavilion

Planned for a location near the Riverwalk entrance, and perched over the river, the Upper Pavilion will be an open air shelter with a viewing pier, managed by the Riverwalk Homeowners' Association.

Private Parking Spots

In addition to the parking spots on each home site, there will be several Riverwalk sites for use by residents.

RIVERFRONT

Planned for donation to an appropriate park entity, the water access road and riverside trail are directly behind the homes.
